LOCAL POPULATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION VISION

MISSION
We are technical and information resource agency, working in partnership with national and local government policy and decision makers, program
implementors, community leaders and civil society. We will be leading strategic planners, policy and program advocates for the population program.
GOAL
Create a favorable environment for achieving rational population growth and distribution defined in relation to availability of resources and
environment situation.
OBJECTIVES
1. Help couples/parents achieved their desired family size within the context of responsible parenthood for sustainable development
2. Improve the reproductive health of individuals and contribute to the lessening of maternal mortality, infant mortality and early child (under 5
years of age) mortality.
3. Reduce the incidence of teenage pregnancy, incidence of early marriage and the incidence of other reproductive health problems.
4. Contribute to policies that will assist government achieve a favorable balance between population distribution, economic activities and the
environment.
